3D Photography Fieldtrip

7th June 2014

HeritageTogether.org and Cymdeithas Archaeoleg a Hanes Llŷn / Llŷn Archaeology and History Society are coordinating to run a digital photogrammetry fieldtrip at Coetan Arthur on 7th June 2014.  Bring your digital camera and find out how you can co-produce a 3D digital model of the site, providing an invaluable research and conservation tool.  The model and images will be freely available from the project website.  This field trip will provide the data for the digital photogrammetry workshop which the society and HeritageTogether are running as part of the Festival of British Archaeology (http://www.archaeologyfestival.org.uk/events/909).  Sign up to this workshop to see how the digital photos are processed to build the 3D model, and take some ideas away for other projects.
